The HX-6S-12A is a Battery Management System (BMS) designed for 6-cell (6S) lithium battery packs. Its job is to monitor and protect the battery pack during charging and discharging. The board also balances cell voltages to extend battery life and improve safety.
It’s suitable for typical lithium-ion chemistries like 18650 Li-ion cells (nominal ~3.7 V each), giving a nominal pack voltage of ~22.2 V and max ~25.2 V when fully charged.
